Trigger warning and Spoilers
Gah, what is this I don't even!? Attempted gangrape, seriously? The production levels are impressive, the intent behind the show was good... tone, yeah, tonally... NOT in the spirit of Steph's series. Unless it was meant to be a comment on the new "realistic" brand of villainy compared to the Classic Gotham Style of the Supervillainy... which I don't think was the case.
Look, I know that Steph just steamrolling everyone that she comes across would rapidly get boring after a while, but although Steph did get drugged and beaten up several times, inserting an attempted gangrape into the series, in the FIRST EPISODE, just leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
And Steph seems oddly whiny and unprofessional here, as if the creator/star mistook quipping for complaining. Don't get me wrong, Steph was there in places... just not enough of her to balance out the aforementioned scene.
Hopefully episode two, which should be out in about a month, improves and we get more of the Steph we're used to.
